I’m going to break down here my old project portfolio, the one that helped me land my startup in Madrid, Spain.

I want this portfolio to serve you as help, inspiration, and motivation to build your own projects.

Remember, there will always be constraints: time, costs, knowledge…

Always.

When you’re starting your career, you may think you need to refactor or keep improving things before making them public, because you’re aware of your own weaknesses… But actually, done is better than perfect.

First, you build for fun, and then opportunities will come.

The only rule is to enjoy the process of building as much as possible while learning. You’ll spend thousands of hours writing production code in the future, for 5–20 companies throughout your life. So enjoy coding small personal projects before that stage begins.
